Crocs to sell cowboy boots for limited time

The backstrap of the cowboy boots from Crocs features a “spin-able spur charm.”

For a brief period, Crocs announced it will sell the footwear.

In a little more than two weeks, Crocs Classic Cowboy Boots, which are made by the brand best known for its foam clogs, will be available. On the Crocs website, they are priced at $120.

According to Crocs, the cowboy boots are “among the most frequently requested Crocs shoe designs in brand history.”

Despite all they have accomplished, Crocs have rarely gone much further than the ankle. But when the footwear business introduces its own cowboy boot this month, that will change.

The article stated that the boot had “bold, western-inspired stitching” and a “high shine, croc-embossed texture,” and that it was “accessorized with unique metallic Jibbitz charms and a first-of-its-kind spin-able spur charm attached to the backstrap of the shoe.”

According to the firm, Duke, the brand’s beloved crocodile mascot, has gone country and is donning his very own cowboy hat on the rivet detail of the distinctive black and white Crocs logo.

It said that frequent Crocs wearers had made numerous requests for the design. Starting on October 23, the boot will be offered for a brief period for $120 (£98) in select Crocs retail locations and on the company’s website.

David Hockney, Stormzy, and Post Malone have all been spotted dining with the new king while wearing Crocs and a Savile Row suit. They have been widely accepted as an essential piece of workwear even before that. One store declared black Crocs with a faux fur lining to be a top seller last year.

Sales for the three months ended on September 30, 2022, were approximately $1 billion (£820 million), according to the firm.

According to the press release, the brand added “high shine croc-embossed texture” and “western-inspired stitching” to the boots. A “first-of-its-kind spin-able spur charm attached to the backstrap” will be included.

According to the listing on the business website, Crocs fans will also receive Croc Star and Cowboy Duke Jibbitz charms to wear on the western-style boots. The crocodile that represents Croc is called Duke.

They will be available on October 23 to coincide with Croc Day, which the business described as an annual “fan-created holiday.” It takes place during “Croctober.”

According to Crocs, company sells approximately 100 million pairs of shoes per year.
